Job Purpose
The Corporate Communications Manager provides the leadership to develop and oversee all external and internal communication initiatives that enhance and support the strategic goals of United Development Company. Driving market awareness for United Development Company within the region and internationally, including its flagship development: The Pearl-Qatar.
Assessing marketing communications efforts, evaluating voids, key user requirements, effectiveness of content and delivery methods and channels.
Analyzing and synthesizing strategic information and pulling it together into messages that communicate a clear and crisp strategic concept.
Leading the team to meet communications, media relations, publishing and other corporate communications targets.
Establishing and maintaining ongoing relationships with mass media organizations, industry analysts, business, government, and other influences to ensure positive and accurate reporting of UDC and its projects and subsidiaries.
Remaining knowledgeable about emerging social and media methodologies and strategies.
Providing vision to the ongoing assessment and development of the Company’s strategic plan.
Training and placing key spokespersons to media community on corporate, project and market issues.

Job Requirments
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing or a related field; Extensive experience as journalist a plus.
Experience:
12-plus years of work experience in the mass communications industry.
Experience as a journalist a plus.
Technical Competencies:

Job Purpose
Responsible to coordinate and supervise the implementation of the Company’s events; execution of events at the Pearl – Qatar from the Logistics, Quality Control, Technical, Administrative, Production, and Operational Goals and Achievements; outdoor and indoor media and communications projects; as well as the execution of the clients’ advertising campaigns at the Pearl – Qatar from the Logistics, Quality Control, Technical, Administrative, Production, and Operational Goals and Achievements.

Main activities

Follow all production procedures as instructed.
Supervise the quality of all logistics for outdoor campaigns and events.
Perform all work to organizational standards to ensure final product meets quality standards.
Perform quality inspections as necessary.
Maintain cleanliness of all outdoor media units.
Assure the daily and weekly production schedule is adhered to.
Ensure all outdoor media units working properly & safety guidelines are followed.
Prepare post events and outdoor proof reports.

To ensure health & safety standards during the event for smooth execution.

Hands on event handling to ensure all issues are addressed immediately whilst maintaining comprehensive records to ensure database is updated continually.
Proposing requirements for events; identify potential prospects for events.
Coordinating the logistics, equipment, branding material and displays for events to ensure that specifications and needs are fulfilled within the budget, quality standards and prescribed time frames.
Supporting the Events Manager in the preparation and circulation of the Event Production Schedule's, D-Day Planner's, Event 
Feedback Forms, Event Summary Report's and other event related documents.
Providing support on site during the event, arrange and supervise display materials installation to ensure maximum publicity with appropriate exposure to UDC.

Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor in Marketing or equivalent.
Experience:
Min 2 to 4 years experience in quality assurance and production and events.

Job Purpose
The Publications Coordinator plays an integral part in the efficient operation of the department as a whole. The position works alongside the Corp. Comm. Manager, Editors, Translator and Photographer to create a unified look and feel across the publications.
The Publications Coordinator is ultimately responsible for the management of the overall flow of the department’s publications, including coordinating with other departments or subsidiaries in order to produce highly successful and timely publications. 
The Publications coordinator will also help oversee the internal newsletters and keep all information consistent.

Coordinate the implementations of the spreadsheets and flat plans of all issues and assist the Corporate Communications Manager with the efficient maintenance of deadlines as well as with quality control on all editorial and media related assignments by the department.
Coordinate closely with content developer from story idea inception to delivery of features and articles.
Coordinate processes related to publications work and function, including layout and design.
Provide support to the copywriter when required in areas such as content approval and the creation of publications layout.
Engage in media coordination and research activities whenever needed or requested.

Support the Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Governance Officer in the day to day work.
Carry out legal research as required by the Senior Lawyers or any higher management including finding out precedents and relevant statutes, legal articles and other writings related to a specific legal research.
Draft and prepare standard governmental documents such as proxies, Articles of Associations, etc.
Help Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Governance Officer and other lawyers in preparing court cases when requested such as legal documents.
Follow up with external law firms handling cases with the company and keeping track of trail records.
Assist lawyers in all stages of corporate transactions and with the preparation of documents necessary to comply with local regulations in the conduct of business activities
Assist attorneys to prepare integral corporate documents/materials.
Work with lawyers to prepare all documents required to form corporations (both business and not-for-profit corporations), partnerships and limited liability companies.
Maintain active and appropriate communications with the Board of Directors Members as per the directives of the Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Governance Officer.
Perform research and analysis of routine legal problems and issues.
Research relevant statutes, rulings, and precedents to be used as a basis for answering requests for legal opinions of a routine nature or limited scope.
Perform preliminary work in the preparation of legal opinions.
Update legal publications and participates in the work associated with a law library.
Prepare case notes, head notes, and index entries describing decisions and orders.
Review recent legislation, court cases, correspondence, and publications pointing out matters of note or which necessitate action.
Communicate the correspondence to the Qatar Exchange and Qatar financial Markets Authority in high efficiency and appropriate time.

Job Requirments
Educational Qualifications:

Job Requirments
Educational Qualifications:

Legal qualifications which are recognized in the State of Qatar.
LLB or equivalent,  LLM is preferable
Current bar association membership and in good standing.
Experience:

7-10 years of experience in a corporation or law firm with experience in advising the executive management and supporting the company’s operations.
